Faculty - Using Panopto in Canvas

Enable Panopto within Canvas to grant students access to your recorded lectures and recorded student presentations, or to allow students to record presentations.

Enabling Panopto in Canvas

To use Panopto in Canvas, enable the menu item for "Panopto Recordings."

1. Log in to Canvas.
2. Select the course.
3. Go to "Settings" in the course menu.
4. Click the "Navigation" tab in Settings.
   
5. Drag the "Panopto Recordings" item above the message about hiding links from students. This will add it to the "Course Navigation."
   
6. Click"Save" at the bottom of the page.
   

With Panopto Recordings enabled in the course navigation, you have granted students in the course viewing rights.
