Okta Verify is the recommended MFA authenticator for use on St. Edwards systems. Please follow the steps below to Okta Verify for your account and device.
- Install Okta Verify first. You can do this from whichever "store" your phone uses, App Store, Google Play Store, etc.
- Once you've downloaded Okta Verify to your mobile device, open the app and select the "+" in the upper right corner.
- The following steps are to select "Organization."
- "Skip"

- "No, Sign In Instead"

- And use "identity.stedwards.edu" as the URL. This will redirect you to Okta's Single Sign-On, where you will need to verify your Username and Password, and provide an additional MFA factor to enroll in Okta Verify.

Once you're finished, you should see your SEU account underneath "identity.stedwards.edu" in the Okta Verify app. This means you've set it up correctly and can use it to verify your login. If you encounter any issues or errors, please submit a ticket with a screenshot to support@stedwards.edu.
Known Issue
If you set up Okta Verify on a previous device but not on your current phone, you may encounter a login loop where Okta attempts to validate using your previous device. This login loop happens when a user has no other valid MFA options on their Okta account. If possible, please select "verify with something else" on the MFA options page and select any other options presented.
