Installing Okta FastPass on Employee Macs

St. Edward's staff and faculty are licensed for the federated application version of Okta Verify for use on their work purchased device. You'll find the Okta Verify App in your JAMF Self Service tool on your Mac.

1. Open Launch Pad (Apps in new OS versions) and search for "Self Service" on your Mac.

6. Next, you should be prompted to log into the SEU Okta Single Sign-On (SSO) with your username/email, password, and a multi-factor authenticator (MFA). If you do not have an MFA to log in with, you will need to submit an MFA Reset Request here.

7. To use FastPass, you will need to setup Touch ID on your Mac. Touch ID is a MacOS system tool and is not directly affiliated with Okta. Here is Apple's article on setting up Touch ID.

Once you have Touch ID setup on your Mac, click "Enable" in the Okta Verify app.
