About Campus Wi-Fi

St. Edward's University provides free Internet access to all faculty, staff, and students in two forms.

Wireless connections are available campus-wide, including in residence halls and apartments. All faculty and staff have Ethernet in their offices, and residence halls have Ethernet in each bedroom or desk space.

All members of the St. Edward's community must authenticate and register before using our primary campus wireless network. You can register up to 20 devices on the SEU network, and we have instructions for connecting MacsPCsiOS devices and Androids

  • Note: Smart devices and gaming consoles work best on our campus's wired network, so try that first. The SEU Guest wireless network is another option as well. Check out our setup instructions for PlayStation, Nintendo and Xbox.

Available Networks

  • SEU: The SEU network uses 802.1x authentication for a faster and more secure connection.  All data sent over this network is encrypted.
  • SEU-Guest: The SEU-Guest network is available to guests on campus, but with limited bandwidth.
  • EduroamThe Eduroam network allows international students at St. Edward's to connect using the credentials from their home university.
