Panopto now archives videos not accessed for 13 months.
What does this mean?
Panopto videos that haven't been accessed for 13 months will be archived. They are not gone.

Restoring Archived Videos
Simply click “Restore from Archive” to restore the video. Recovery can take up to 48 hours, but typically, it’s much quicker. Once restored, the video remains available and continues to be accessed.
How to Find Archived Videos
When looking in a Panopto folder, click "View archived videos" to see any in that folder.
When searching, check the box for "Show archived videos."
Canvas Links
If a video linked or embedded in Canvas is archived, any user can restore it. If you have several Panopto videos linked in a course that haven’t been used recently, before the course starts, click on each Panopto link. This resets the timer for each video, ensuring they remain available for at least another 13 months.
