Just by being St. Edward's students, faculty, or staff, you have free access to Microsoft 365.
Go to Microsoft 365 Education's website and create an account with your SEU email.

Once you follow the steps to create your account, contact IET support to request access to Microsoft 365. Once we grant your license, you should be able to log in, access the online tools, and download the apps to install on your computer.


It will take a couple of minutes to install the apps on your computer. Once they're done, you'll be prompted to log in to the apps with the same Microsoft account you made with your SEU email.
Note: Make sure to uncheck the box to "Allow my organization to manage my device" when prompted, or it will break the Office license on your computer.

After unchecking the box, you should be able to use your Microsoft Office apps.
If you have accidentally left the box checked...
You can uninstall Office from your computer and repeat the installation steps.
You may also be able to fix this problem in Windows Settings > Accounts > Access work or school, then "Disconnect" the SEU Microsoft account from your computer.
