Rumi is a plug-in for Canvas that can be used in writing assignments. Based on the assignment's settings and faculty policy, students may be able to use Generative AI (ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini) to complete writing assignments. Faculty can view a student's use of AI and track their writing path. Faculty will be able to see which content was pasted into the Rumi assignment, as well as other insights into the student's writing process, including the percentage of content copied, writing duration, and the percentage of words revised.
