Requesting an NVivo License
Accessing NVivo requires your SEU account to be associated with a license. Please note that we have a limited number of NVivo licenses, which are reserved for substantial academic research projects. Licenses are assigned on a per-request basis; please fill out a request to have a license attached to your SEU account.
New to NVivo?
If you are not yet certain that NVivo is the right tool for your specific research needs, or if you are in the early exploratory phase of your project, we encourage you to start with a 14-day free trial directly from the vendor. This allows you to explore the software’s features and compatibility with your data before requesting a permanent, university-assigned license.
Please note that NVivo is complex software with a significant learning curve. If your project is smaller in scope, you may want to consider simpler tools for qualitative analysis, such as ATLAS.ti, which offers a free trial, as well as student pricing.
