If you have quizzes or exams in Microsoft Word, you can work with Instructional Technology to use Respondus 4.0 to upload those quizzes to Canvas.
How does it work?
Respondus 4.0 will translate a properly formatted quiz created in Word or another application and upload it to Canvas.
What do you need to do?
- Format your existing quiz according to the Respondus Guidelines. This is important as Respondus needs to know how to differentiate questions, possible answers, and correct answers. Mistakes in formatting will result in extra time correcting mistakes during the upload process.
- Contact Instructional Technology by emailing support@stedwards.edu and requesting assistance uploading a quiz to Canvas. Don't attach the quiz file to this email. Wait until someone from Instructional Technology contacts you.
- Instructional Technology will work with you to upload the file to your Canvas course.
- Review and configure your quiz in Canvas.
