New Quizzes is a new quizzing tool in Canvas that faculty may enable and use in their courses. Check out the Introduction to New Quizzes in Canvas to learn about the differences between Classic and New Quizzes.
This article covers the following topics:
Question Banks/Item Banks
Item Banks replace Question Banks from Classic Quizzes. Item banks can be used to store questions for use in other quizzes. You can use your item banks in any course where you have permission to create and edit a quiz using New Quizzes.
See How do I manage Item Banks for detailed information.
New features in Item Banks include direct import of questions, tagging items with metadata, searching and filtering within banks, the ability to share specific banks with other users or courses, and aligning questions with learning outcomes.
