Accessing Zoom Cloud Recordings in Panopto

Zoom recordings are automatically backed up with a Zoom to Panopto integration. Panopto is a video creation and management application, normally accessed through Canvas and utilized for recording presentations created by instructors and/or students.

OIT removes older Zoom cloud recordings from prior semesters to free up Zoom cloud storage. You can still access your Zoom cloud recordings in Panopto, which has unlimited cloud storage.

  • Note: Due to this change, if you have shared Zoom cloud recordings using a Zoom link, the link will no longer work, and you will need to share the Panopto link instead.
