If you use Outlook to check your email, you can use it with Gmail.
Google offers a useful tool to sync your Outlook profile and all its data. Follow these steps to set it up:
- Download Google Apps Sync and run the installer after it downloads.
- When it installs, enter your email address.
- You'll be asked to log in with your St. Edward's username and password, and a new window will open. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Allow."
- When prompted, open Outlook. Select your new Gmail profile and click "OK."
- Outlook will ask to make a new profile. Select "Create profile."
Important Note About the Google Connector
By default, the Google Connector syncs up to 1 GB of your mail. Follow these extra steps if you want to sync all your mail:
- Click your taskbar in the bottom right of your screen to view the "Google Connector" icon (i.e., the green circle). When you see it, right-click.
- Click "Set mailbox size limit."

3. Select the "Unlimited" option and click "OK."
