The Qwickly Attendance, available for iOS or Android phones, allows students to check in faster by showing them open check-in sessions to check in with a PIN or QR code.
Note: If your instructor uses QR codes for Check In, you must use the Qwickly App to check in. Here's the complete Guide to Using the Qwickly Attendance App.
- Search for the Qwickly Attendance app on the iOS App Store or Google Play Store.
- Install the app
- Find your school: Type the first 3 characters "st."
- Click "St. Edwards University"
- If prompted, sign in to your St. Edwards University account.
- If Check-in has been activated by the instructor, you will have the opportunity to check in via QR code or PIN
- Students should first download and install the free Qwickly Attendance App or Canvas Student App for iOS or Android. If you do not have the Canvas Student App or Qwickly Attendance App, you can use a web browser, but Qwickly will not work on Safari.
- In the Canvas app, find your course and then click Qwickly in the course menu. In the Qwickly App, find your course and Check In.
- Follow on-screen instructions either to enter a PIN or scan a QR code if required by your instructor, or click Check In.
- Note: If the instructor is using a QR code, you must use the Qwickly Attendance App to check in.
Qwickly is a third-party application that is integrated into Canvas. As such, it may not work across all browsers and platforms. As noted above, Safari is not recommended, as the only way to get it to work is by adjusting Safari's security settings.
Students can see their attendance record by clicking Qwickly Attendance in Canvas. You'll see your overall absences at the top and a complete list of all attendance statuses by day.
