We do a lot of work over semester breaks. Summer, spring, winter — we're usually here, plugging away at updates and upgrades, in an effort to minimize the disruption to your day-to-day lives

This December's no different. Over the winter break, we'll be shifting the SEU-Guest wireless network to Google Fiber. Like everything we do, this change is part of the ongoing effort to provide fast and reliable wireless access on campus, even to those who are just visiting the hilltop for a day.
But the switch will have some implications for how you use university resources.
As of Dec. 15, you won't be able to access any internal university resources from the SEU-Guest network unless you're using university VPN. To access systems like Banner, we ask that you connect to the main SEU network, which provides a layer of security SEU-Guest, as a public network, lacks.
SEU-Guest should be used only by university visitors who don't have St. Edward's credentials.
