Skype is a free video-conferencing software. If you do not already have it installed on your computer, you will need to download it. 

If you're using a university-owned computer, you will need to submit a support case to OIT, so one of our support staff members can download the software for you.

You can use Skype to make person-to-person as well as group calls.

Troubleshooting

If you're having issues with your microphone, speakers or camera, you will need to configure these settings. For Mac, go to Skype > Preferences > Audio/Video settings. For Windows, go to Tools > Options > Audio/Video settings. Here, you can manually select which microphone, speakers, or camera you want Skype to use.
