Resetting MFA if You Still Have Access to Your Old Device

Log in to your St. Edward's account through the Manage Your Account task in myHilltop or identity.stedwards.edu.

1.Click "Edit Profile" in the upper right corner. To access account editing capabilities, you will need to sign in again. This means that you will be prompted for MFA. If the prompt defaults to a factor you can't access, use the "Verify with something else" to select an accessible one that is enrolled on your old device.

5. Launch your authentication app (Okta Verify or Google Authenticator).

6. Follow the application's prompts to finish setting up the factor. You will need to sign in again and authenticate via MFA on your old device.

7. After adding the authentication factor to your new device, return to the Security Methods screen.

8. Click "Remove" to remove the MFA factor associated with your old device.
