Body
You can access Panopto to create videos anywhere in Canvas with an editor toolbar, including pages and discussions. With the demise of Flip (Flipgrid), using Panopto in a Canvas Discussion is one alternative for video discussions.
Faculty: Setting up a video discussion board
You can use a regular discussion in Canvas. Click on the Discussions link in your course menu. Add instructions, any specific discussion settings and a due date. Students will use the Panopto tool to record their video and embed it in a discussion reply.
