Viewing Instructor Feedback in Canvas

Students can view comments on assignments through Grades in Canvas if faculty choose to provide students with online feedback.

Student Steps for Viewing Feedback in Canvas

1. Log in to the course and click the "Grades" link.
2. Find the assignment and click the assignment name.
3. Click "View Feedback" to view all feedback, including comments and any additional annotated comments made on the submission.

Viewing Rubric Results for an Assignment

1. Log in to the course and click the"Grades" link.
2. Find the assignment and click the assignment name.
3. If an assignment has a rubric, the assignment will display the rubric icon. To open the rubric, click the "Rubric" icon.

Downloading Feedback

Students can also download instructor feedback. There are instructions for how to download annotated feedback in the Canvas Community.
