Once a Hilltopper, always a Hilltopper. As such, you'll retain access to certain key pieces of your account after graduation.
Explore the following topics in this guide on alumni access:
Access to your St. Edward's email address expires approximately one year after your last class. After your address is deactivated, you can't send, receive or forward messages. IET recommends updating accounts linked to your St. Edward's email address and saving or forwarding important emails within the one year.
Students can use Google Takeout to download an archive of your messages. Google provides a guide to help you download or transfer all your SEU account's Google data.
Google accounts will be deleted after two years of inactivity.
myHilltop will always be there for you. Continue using myhilltop.stedwards.edu with your university username and password for essential tasks like:
If you lose access to your account (e.g., you forget your password), you can restore it at identity.stedwards.edu. For W-2 issues, contact the Office of Human Resources for help.
Your Canvas courses will close after their last scheduled date, and access to Canvas as a whole expires after your last class ends.
Library collection materials are only available digitally to current students, staff, and faculty. Alumni can visit the library in person to access collection materials and a guest computer.
Access to LinkedIn Learning training content expires one year after your last class.
Access to on-campus computers and the SEU Wi-Fi expires after your last class. When visiting, the Munday Library provides a guest computer, and, of course, the SEU-Guest Wi-Fi network is always available, regardless of your status.
Additionally, other offices on campus offer access to specific software components after graduation.
